Where to start? I still cannot believe what has happened.

Damoclass ordered some standard issue drills in O56, near Ferosa. one of the drills would be an escape drill.
so far nothing strange, god knows we need those escape drills. but jezus, who could have known it would end like this.

the drill started out normally. the alarms went off, and all non-vital crew mambers entered the shuttles and left the Aeria. but then Damoclass gave the order to all hands to abandon ship. including vital personell. we thought it was strange but he said he wanted the drill to be as realistic as possible. all hands abandoned ship, which was sitting 2k from Ferosa orbit. that alone worried me but I never thought it would come to this. as the last shuttle, in which I was sitting was waiting for the commander to get on board, it was force-launched. the only place where it is possible to enter that command is the bridge. Then the alarms went off for real: danger, entering atmosphere. we then knew that something was seriously wrong.

as we shot away from the Aeria`s port side we saw her engines engage, as she skimmed Ferosa orbit. the next few minutes we sat frozen as we saw the Aeria Gloris burst in flames, break up into pieces and then completely explode, commander Damoclass still on board.

Now we know why he didn`t ever bother about his pension. as for his motives? god knows. I guess he was just fed up with all the murder and mayhem around him. I never thought that would get to him, seeing as he was an insensitive prick. hell, the only decent thing he ever did was having us all abandon ship as he made his last trip into Ferosa orbit.

an investigation is underway now. an accident? hell no. Core may want it to be an accident, but the entire crew knows what really happened that day. the only reported casualty is commander Dashiell Damcoclass, who died at age 29, leaving behind a lot of questions and no answers.
