Yet another fine day for the RHA! I set out into New Berlin yesterday, to hear the chatter of several pilots of the corrupt regime. Contacting Vogtland, I was able to get two other RHA pilots to come to my assistance. I ran into one policeman and one military pilot in between Bonn station and Dortmund, and they were busy attacking a Bowex smuggler trying to haul a load of counterfeit software. Both pilots were flying Mjolnirs. As the Bowex pilot did nothing to ask for my assistance, I stayed back from the fight, waiting for my comrades to arrive, scanning the police ships.
.
Just as the Bowex ship was being reduced to so much scrap, Storch and Herr Teutoburg arrived on the scene, and together we engaged the police pilots. The first police pilot quickly fell to my well timed SNAC volley.
They were soon joined by Sgt Anderz of the RSS, also in a Mjolnir, who immediatley engaged our small force.
The second policeman fell, again to my SNAC, before Sgt Anderz began to specifically target my ship. His loadout of heavy missile ordnance began to hammer into my hull, as shot after shot of mine grazed his paintwork. Eventually Storch was able to land the telling blow
.
A DHC escort ship also joined the fray at that point, soon followed by Jens Brandt, a military pilot, before we were reinforced by the arrival of Herr Neurath, Herr von Nokom and the Messerschmidt. It seems that Sgt Anderz fire had done some damage to my scanners and guncams as they failed to register the scan of the scan of the DHC vessel, and the destruction of the military pilot. The day belonged to us, and we finished of all remaining enemy vessels in short order.
. .
After our fine victory in New Berlin, we returned to Vogtlad to refit. We heard reports there was an RM presence in Omega-15, so we set off to teach them their share of the lesson. In the end, nine of us jumped to Omega-15.
We split up to search the system for the RM vessels. Unfortunately all we came across to begin with was a solitary RM recruit. Given the poor state of his ship and weapons, we took pity on him and allowed him to retreat to safety. No doubt we will get plenty of opportunity to destroy him in the future. There was no sign of the two RM battleships known to be in the system, they were obviously hiding from us, the cowards, but we did run into the BHG battlecruiser, Estal. He was in the vicinity of Bornholme, but as he was busy destroying Corsairs in the area, we decided to leave him to it. No point in stopping someone from killing our enemies.
We moved to the Nebula in the north of the system, but again it was clear. It wasn't until we were about to return to Dresden that the Estal reappeared on our scanners, demanding that we leave Omega-15. We were in no mood to comply, insisting instead that it should be him that leave, and demanded that he turn over the Corsair prisoners in his brig to us for interrogation. He refused continually, and on the appearance of the hunter battleship Dark-Blue, we engaged.
.
The fight was not short, but it was one sided, the hunter heavy weaponry no match for our manoeuverable Thors and Odins. It was not long before the Estal fell, allowing us to turn all our firepower on the unfortunate Dark-Blue.
Our combined and concentrated fire hammered into the shields and hull of the Dark-Blue continually, and before long a SNAC hit to his main engine core started a chain reaction resulting in the destruction of the vessel.
.
It was a glorious victory for our forces, and for the entire engagement, not a single RHA vessel fell. This will help to show our strength, not only to our enemies, but also to those who might be thinking of assisting us in our struggles.
