Saw this one whilst posting the above post. I'm not saying there would be tens of mercenary companies around that go out and get contracts with everyone but then somehow are all part of one big company, that wouldn't work no-matter what happened. I think my reply to Reverend Del's post might explain it, we would have several contracts but not in the same area. We could have a contract with the Corsairs and Liberty, the Corsairs don't effect Liberty and vice versa. We could have a contract with Rheinland and Gallia, Rheinland doesn't effect Gallia and vice versa.
