Finally. It took me several trips back and forth, but I managed to raid the jump gate control center down in Kyushu for a few erm, borrowed codes. I don't understand them, but the anima do.
The anima...........something else that is confusing me. I modified the repair drones so that they can hold the fragments of the AI. I wondered what would have happened.

They modified the reactor from Floor 8 and the automated guns on level four. They resemble ancient miniguns in design, but have an increased power output. The only bonus that these old aging guns have over their energy based brothers is the fact that they will actually make direct contact with the ship, actually pushing and punting it around in space. You see in space, it is ineffective and total waste of fuel to constantly have your fuel on, although during battle this is useful. The kinetic energy from the guns will play havoc on the ships coordination. In this case, the presence of an airless void will be very useful.

Lets see, after using the faint pieces of the remaining psyche on the previous core of the AI to animate the machines, they actually were able to stabilize in their small memory banks, creating their own forms of sentience. This is either very lucky or very disturbing. You see, this is off the far side of my elected study. In all sense, they should have died the instant they hit the bots.

They surprised me. It turns out that the human Auia is regenerative. My disconcerting little children are even preforming their own personalities! Now, while they still have to present an actual detectable thought on their higher functioning part of their 'mind' in order to be classified AI's, the Anima is still present, part human, part simple minded robot.
How is this possible? This is turning into more of a religious question by the second. I need to sit down.

<Ian backs up and walks toward the chair. One of the flying "Anima" drones beat him to it and spun it around, pushing it neatly towards him. Wide-eyed, Ian slowly takes the chair and sits in it.>

I don't understand, its like someone just shook the playing board of my studies around, with things out of place, I.....
gah, my head.

For now, there remains a few things to do. The reactor throughput has been increased to 124% and rising. We are currently testing the thrusters to push this thing through a jump hole. They will notice if I push this big block of metal without a permit through a jump gate, so maybe the Proton Shields will hold up for the journey. Risky, but the only way I have out of this sector.

But first I need a destination. I can tag team jump holes for this station to get through.

Now where do I start?...

<the camera shows Ian staring at a blank sheet of paper. He stares at it lazily, then puts his head on his hand and starts to begin some equation. Eventually he starts doodling something on a piece of paper. The rest of the video shows him eventually nodding off and hitting the desk with his face, snoring quietly. The rest of the Anima left, except for one, who leave, then returns with a blanket. It lays it squarely on his head in an uneven and messy clump, then leaves turning off the light.>

Some say that he is allergic to a fungus found only between the toes of Corsairs,
and that he is oblivious to 98% of Liberty Law. All we know is...

He's called the Busdriver!
