Sir, I have received a report from one of my Epsilon wing pilots concerning the Phantom attack on Cambridge.
J. Winter I believe made a valiant attempt to stop the cruiser from reaching the planets atmosphere, and in
doing so lost his own ship in the resulting blast wave.
He was aided in this effort by the SiN|Tech Battleship Superior, The Interceptor and a BSG Viper, the Veers,
all of whom failed to inflict enough critical damage to stop the suicide run. It would appear the mind set of the
craft was not to inflict damage on their ships, just to attack the planet.
Early comms chatter on open channel had the Devastor also bombing the cities in question, though he was not
attacked at the time as all main efforts were directed at the Phantom.
His pod was picked up by The Superior and he was shuttled back to his current base on the CRI. He himself
was shielded from the radiation by the use of our own lined flight suits. He managed to launch again with a
supply of Hazmat suits which were tractored to the BSG pilots involved in the early rescue attempts.
I would like to place all available IND transport craft at your disposal for the movement of all neccessary aid,
including medical and temporary accomodation needs.
Anything else we are able to do for you at this time will be undertaken, as we have enjoyed your hospitality
and protection for a long period now. Please communicate your reply to our offices at Waterloo Station in New
London as quickly as you can and efforts will be co-ordinated from there.
