Glock sat on their home base of Ryuku, away from prying eyes in the Tohoku system.
He had seen the GNN reports earlier in the day. While the result was a brilliant coup for their cause once
more, the loss of a slayer in the field suicidally, irked him.
"Silly woman." He thought out loud.
"What the hell was she doing there unaided in the first place."
His mind was not on his current job, dispersement of funds for loadout replacement.
This, while a great move for the cause, was going to have bad repercussions, the killing of a Phantom would
be all over the wires for ages.
"Damn, Onyx should have seen this coming, those two were always in fairly close contact most of the time."
He reached for the comm link.
"Get me Arranmore now"
He shouted into the mic.
"I want Onyx on this channel in 10 seconds, or else."
The line hummed.
"Get me the slayer Onyx in the bar now ... What do you mean she left, left for where ?"
Glocks patience was already wearing very thin.
"And she did WHAT ? ... Well I'm sure he deserved it."
Though the loss of the man who served the perfect stout with its shamrock on top was just another annoying
thing in this already irritating period.
"Just don't make me have to come down there alright."
He moved to the ship comms console.
This was going to be a long day, He had not heard from Darkstar yet ...
