Notes: The SiN|Tech Corporation is one of the largest consortiums ever created. While it's primary production centers are in Liberty space, SiN|Tech has many other facilities scattered about the major Houses. Some of their bases are built off of rented space in other corporations stations when there is no planet to build on, and they have several ties to many shipping and other technology corps.

Their ethics are Spartan at best, and even missing at the worst. They sell to anyone who can afford their services, and are quite zealous with keeping promises or agreements. Several cases have been brought against SiN|Tech, although none have been won. As a side note, those who bring cases against SiN Tech either drop the charges themselves and suddenly are found to have received a large donation from untraceable sources, disappear, or are found dead either from illness or from terrorists.

SiN|Tech possesses a vary advanced defense force, surprisingly being able to access hulls from the Liberty Navy. Two ships reported in SiN Tech use are the Liberty Carrier (SiN|Tech Superior, stationed at Cambridge) and the Liberty Assault Frigate (SiN|Tech Unrelenting, mobile ship designated to trouble spots). Ground forces are equipped with reportedly military grade weapons and armor, and SiN|Tech has access to advanced technology in weaponry, ships, and defense.

SiN|Tech pharmaceuticals are numerous and powerful. The cost of this power, however, comes with as a rather unstable formula. Several of the SiN|Tech drugs are reported to cause massive genetic mutations, although SiN|Tech reports the chances of actual mutation are well within acceptable limits. The reports to the mutations cannot be confirmed, however, because all those who claim to have been mutated seem have disappeared by the time officials can get to them. It has been argued that while the risks for these drugs are something to be considered, their benefits are far outweigh the possible consequences.

It is rumored that SiN|Tech has a Black Operations program, although these rumors cannot be confirmed by any sense of the word.

Night Plateau was vast; incredibly so. The facility spanned kilometers, both on 2D and 3D space. Thus, when one was deep within the Night Plateau facility, one truly was deep.

Secured behind thick doors, guards, an automated defense, black chasms, bridges, tunnels, and several energy fields was the High Security sector of NP. It was here that Ember dragged herself back into the world.

The first thing she noticed was a sense of floating. There was warmth all around, and she didn't seem to be touching anything. Opening her eyes, she found herself to be surrounded by a greenish fluid. Further inspection revealed a network of tubes going in and out of her. One went down her throat, apparently into her lungs because she could breathe, and the others disappeared into various portions of her ravaged flesh. Strangely there was no pain. In fact, Ember realized she couldn't feel the tubes at all.

Looking over the rest of her body, Ember found out just why she was immersed in this tank of nanomachines and protein. If beauty was skin deep, there was no beauty for Ember any more. Her skin was gone, the only thing keeping her insides inside being her own muscles.

Lights warmed and a holographic panel flickered into existence before Ember's eyes. Text began marching across the screen, "Welcome to the SiN|Tech Intensive Care and Reconstruction Unit! How may we assist you today?"

Below, several options began to spring up. Costume design, additional modifications, requests for items to be obtained... And to top it all off the price listing for everything had been removed, a simple sentence under the 'Total' bar reading "Paid by Outside Number."

A little suggestion had been pinned at the bottom, a picture of a combat armorfe support suit listed with it's advantages and statistics.



Ember smiled again, the edges of her damaged mouth lifting upwards in a cruel mockery of a smile. Just perhaps, there was a shred of good from her 'death.'
