I wasnt at this (my pc brokeded, plus it was in the AM..), but I can attest to a lot of KNF stokes hugging, in particular a [KNF] tagged gunboat making circles around it and docking before he died. I hadnt ever seen BAF run all the way to Derby, granted, ive mostly seen victories for BAF.
If we were losing, fleeing to Derby would be in practice a retreat, and dock>log would follow, but this only, shield running all the way to it is not accepted.
And yes, the power of not dying is seen as more important to the power of killing, but I dont agree that its unacceptable, especially in a big fight, perhaps its my fault, as i've always said 'You're no good to me dead, Ensign!' seeing as focus fire requires strict evasion or you'll be killed sharpish, especially against bombers.
fleet fights are unfortunately about surviving, weak links in the whole team, etc, and seeing as Zapp, Ench and various other highly skilled fighters were fighting BAF (i dunno who we had, but it'd have to be a lot of best fighters to match that), I dont blame heavy dodging, however the fleeing to the Derby is not how BAF does business outside of a full retreat.
