Should official factions have more power?

I voted yes on this matter.

Too often I have seen indies and unofficials (not all of them) run around doing silly stuff, a member of the Offical NPC faction tell them to knock it off, only to be told "You can do anything to me"

Case in point , Unlawful cap ships in Liberty. The LR leader TRIED RP to help alleviate the problem by telling them to dock elsewhere, and it elicited a OORP conversation that "You can do that as a faction"

Lib navy has told OORP CAPships to knock it off, quit chasing small fighters, to get told "I don't report to you"

Tell me this is untrue and I will show you a liar.

Factions have had to stand up, pay their dues, prove they were worthy of keeping the canon of the NPC factions, and keep proving it everyday.

Go to any faction description thread, and you will see that staying in character and obeying server rules is paramount.

Should Offical Factions have more power to be able to have some say over the Unofficials and indies? Yes

Should the Official factions know that if they screw up and abuse that power its lights out for them? Yes

What those powers are? I do not know. I hope those who do know can come to a reasonable solution

Lord knows, things aren't working so great now.
