Luciaden shook his head as he read the reports about the Phantoms attacks in Sirius, and Cambridge in particular. He was thinking more and more lately about the utter lack of ability anyone else had in fighting these Phantoms. He was in a full-fledged war with them, the houses could barely hold them off at the doorstep.

Looked like, yet again, he would have to take this into his own hands. He felt his contempt slowly rising. Even the RM were barely holding it together against these puppets.

He activated his desk's comm terminal. "Admiral, prepare the Caedo and its escorts. They are to position themselves in Dublin. The Acheron to Frankfurt, you know where. The Palaemon will be taken to Chugoku. You may take the Chimaera with whatever fleet you wish. Also, signal the Sigtryggr, it is to make its way back to Omicron Theta. The Ableben will be the guardian of Freeport XV and the construction sites for Newport Shipyards and the Zoner weapons development center in Omicron-74."

"Yes sir." "Oh, and tell the Acheron, if the RM find his fleet to flee to Hamburg and from there to Dresden in any way he wishes. Our contact on Bruchsal can keep him updated in RM movements. Be sure to tell him that he is NOT to return fire on any RM ships unless there is no other alternative to keeping his ship and fleet alive. And tell Alarien to stay with Caedo's fleet. The SF use a lot more capital ships than the RM do, she will be more useful there."

"Right away sir."

Luciaden cut the comm channel, and leaned over to pick up a mug with an exotic drink in it. As he sipped it he reviewed the events of the past year. Yes, the Phantoms were becoming quite a nuisance. His emotions turned to anger as he recalled the events that took place no less than last month, on the planet of Malier.

He flexed his hand and it crushed the empty cup.

This time Darkstar would be the one to lose a hand, he thought as he flexed the cybernetic muscles of his hand.





(OOC: We are going to pretend that Ghosts of the Past ended one month from this point, since it isn't quite finished yet. I'll be doing stuff for this time frame, while I continue to do that thread. Also, my ships won't actually be taking on the Phantoms, at least not yet. This is just for RP, as I would rather start now and continue mainly from the RP view, and little from in-game, then balance it out later on when I can, and not to mention when I have the ships finished..)
