Gee, Faction Proposal. How odd. Clearly, this quote doesn't imply in any way that making Les Vampirs a faction is in any way on the table. Boy, thanks for clearing me up on that, Megiddo! I don't know where I'd be without you.
I chose to interpret this as meaning "how I should go about making Les Vampirs official" rather than "how I should go about laying fundamental arpee groundwork that ought to be a given by this point in time".

These are the two quotes I'm looking at. I think Blackwidow should have come up with his own backstory for Les Vampirs but let the PEOPLE in the ZOI decide how agressive Les Vampirs are going to be. My vote is for ruthless pirates.
Zig, it says "Faction Proposal" because he wants to make Les Vampirs a Faction. Right now that is the impossible because Gallia hasn't been released. So it must be "PRE-Faction Proposal" You can't look at only part of what he's actually saying. Blackwidow is asking for CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM on how he wants his basic faction to look. He's not asking you to "lay the fundamental arpee groundwork" I believe he wanted people to SUGGEST what they want. Not BUILD the faction. All you've done is derail the actual message of Blackwidow's original post. You've been part of the cause to an argument that doesn't help anything and from what I can tell the only argument you had was your interpretation of the message. Try to be part of the solution not a problem.

You've said only ONE thing that Blackwidow actually asked for (*Last Thing I Quoted*) So I'll thank you for your few words of progress.

"low life pirate scum - similar to the liberty rogues" doesn't hold water with me. Investigate the LR a little for some inspiration, why don't you? I'm afraid that criminal factions, no matter how "low life" they may be, aren't exempt from the same high roleplay standards everyone else is held to.

Low life pirate scum? I do believe I've called the GRN worse. How about Ruthless Spacebuckling Pirates? I fly with the {Les~Vampirs} tag and I would hardly consider the work we've done against the Gallic Royals to be low lifed. How does the fight against the gallic royals rule considered low lifed? Sounds more honorable revolutionaries. But how "honorable" it will be would be decided by the winner of the war.
