Given a decent setup, a BS can easily take out a Frigate. During test fights, my BS has taken a couple of bars damage at most from a Frigate.

Remember a Frigate only has cruiser guns and less armour than a BS. Given even pilots the BS will win every time.

How you fight and gun loadout plays an important part though. Perhaps there should be some teaking done with some of the guns to balance them.

Overall though, capship fights are very ability and tactic dependent.
