Helping Newbies?

I'm in a similar situation, except I know what to do somewhat.

I used fl companion to find a good trade route after doing missions for a rhino.

I've now moved up to a humpback and die alot less frequently...

But I have to say grinding so that I can afford to grind more efficiently so that I can grind even more efficiently (etc.) is getting old rather quick...

I'm at about 1 Mil now, I think grinding to much in the first place is what caused me to leave the first time. I was dumb and tried to get a fighter, a bomber, a gunboat, a destroyer, and a battleship; I got all the way to destroyer in about 2 weeks before the game was ruined for me. I'm going to go Merc this time, so nothing past gunboat for me.

So if you ever feel like getting rid of any of that extra gold that keeps weighing you down I'm always here to release your burden. I also wouldn't mind any in-character missions.
