Pistols are also used in duels. Shall I call it the hand-gun, then? Same logic. Daggers and the likes may have been used in duels, but that doesn't mean they are duelling weapons. Hell, the Simpsons even used motorbikes as duelling weapons.
Sorry, your logic doesn't make any sense. Border World ships are not named after duelling weapons.
