What I was trying to bring up in the argument, Magoo, was that you assumed they will be given a Cruiser, and used it to prove they will be given a cruiser.

I don't want to repeat myself fully, but I'll say it in short. Giving out a Cruiser only would be extreme, giving it with valuable crew and supplies would seem out of the question.
Your US-France comparison isn't very accurate. If you added US being in a losing war, defending their homeland and being desperate for every vessel and man they can get, you would come a little closer.
I don't like how the Les Vampirs are handling their Cruiser, if it means travelling through Bretonia. If you get such ship, act responsibly. I wouldn't expect to find you going through Leeds Trade Lanes.
