Tinkerbell raises a good point, something that I have noticed too.

The other day, I was pirated a trader with Zelot, and the trader did not RP with us at all. Instead, he simply chose to blurt out several lines of OOC in system, telling us that our IDs(Farmer's Alliance) did not allow us to pirate traders.

Sure, I don't expect him to know every single detail on every single ID, but I did expect him to at least interact with us.

Eventually, I allowed him to return and scan me again, and he found out that he was wrong, and very politely apologized. I pressed the issue, however, and asked him that he was using a sanction threat as a way of getting out of piracy instead of roleplaying the situation out.

He simply replied that he needed to do whatever expedited his work(trading) most.
