• reinstall Freelancer and Disco
  
• deinstall any anti-virus programs or firewalls you installed since the last successful connection
  don't forget to delete all their last traces from the regedit
  
• Attempt to connect with deactivated windows firewall
  
• Check if your Router or Firewall config has changed since the last successful attempt
  
• run as admin in case of vista
  
• run in win2k comp in case of vista
  
• Install winXP instead of vista
  
• Before doing anything - Check if there aren't other things in life more entertainin, resourceful or satisfying than an online RPG.
