Well, comrades, I might have been chained to my desk for a while now along with the rest of the general staff, but that didn't seem to stop you from carrying our cause through battle after battle on both our fronts, as well as the home front as well. While the Rheinland media is still reluctant to report on our victories too often, both Liberty and Military navalmen quake in their boots at the mention of our army. You continue to stop the raging Corsair hordes dead in their tracks in systems that they could once claim as theirs. There is no questioning it, we are well on our way to our final victory, at the very forefront of the entire Rheinland revolutionary movement. There is no man in here that will not be crucial to the accomplishment of our goals.
Unfortunately, victories can be expensive. We have suffered many losses, and many pilots no longer fly at our side. But for each one of us who falls, more of our brothers take his place always ready to fight the good fight. Looking at the performance records I can see a new cadre of young, promising officers forming. Now is the time to reward these officers with the appropriate rank.
Below is the list of promotions, effective immediately:
Rekrut Hessler to Leutnant
Rekrut Banditen to Leutnant
Rekrut Stieder to Leutnant
Leutnant Langburg to Oberleutnant
Let this be a push for you to continue your valiant efforts for the cause. This means all of you, as with personal sacrifice comes sufficient reward!
On a slightly different note: I wish to congratulate the pilots spearheading the latest assault on that Corsair hellhole in Omega-5 for recovering some astounding equipment from that Corsair battleship they managed to cripple in the Hammen. The quartermaster has been ecstatic the entire day. Not only that, but you managed to annihilate an entire Corsair fleet complete with escorts using a force quarter that large. A truly commendable effort, one that will no doubt grace the history books soon enough.
