Would it be wise to add random radiation damage to Jumpholes while passing through them? That way, they would be risky to take, except some main ones, that is, ones that lead to systems without jumpgates. Also, nebulae could have a wide range of anomalies. Electrical discharges that act as an EMP are I think more likely in a nebula. The stars are, in my oppinion more likely to make a direct mechanical or heat based damage
