its really not surprising - nor too difficult to figure out...

if you have a piece of equipment that costs 10.000.000 - and that piece takes like 20% damage, you ll have to pay a big repair bill.

the supernova is such a piece of equipment. - just think of what a Falcata with cheeta thruster, SN, screamer mines and 4 codenames cost when it took around 50% damage from a radiation field.

its not your praetorian, its the equipment you have - a supernova costs 7 million base. - when it takes damage, it ll cost you a portion of that base cost. - just be thankful that armour doesn t take damage.... .
