The harvesters didn't put the effort into the community and server before 4.85.
The excuse was that they were waiting for their shiney ships.

Wait...WHAT??

Of all the people who dislike Harvesters... Linkus... why do you have to stand out in every thread with simmilar lines?

First of all... the Harvesters were the one of the top ranking factions in terms of "members currently online" in 4.84 It ceased in November (gonna double-check it) 2008 when Scornstar left. Until January~Feb 2009. when I kicked them back to life with (mostly) DOTM, Geisha and Zero755. I began this "process" slightly 3 weeks before 4.85


Yes, the Harvesters were promised exclusive rights to those ships, and I will not deny that we badly wanted to have them as they were outmost important for Harvester roleplay at that time as we utilized corsair ships back then... and worse! imports from other games just because they looked alien.


Well, I'm not going to start a debate whether the Harvesters deserved them or not, just pointing out that the statement:

Is incomplete and thus misleading. The Harvesters had a great history of in-game activity since April 2008.

This statement... i dare say... is a lie. If you can point out the thread where we said it ill apologize accordingly. The reason why most of the members went to "sleep" is because Scornstar left and told everyone its just temporary. Most of them haven't returned because they got tired of it.

You know how many wanted to come back only after the new ships got released? I can think of only 3-4.
The majority that came back did that before 4.85. open beta, since then the Harvesters got many many brand new members and their numbers steadily rising. Some, maybe because of the new shiny ships. Others because they felt that the Harvester faction has potential.
