So, the justification is that: If the offical process is not open, then players are free to haul off and do what they want?

Only way of doing things is through Admins, like it use to be done.

The infocard refers to it as an AI ship and it uses the AI ID.
If it is stated somewhere officially, either on the inforcard or on the forums, as a Harvester ship then I'll gladly regard it as such.
Till then it's an AI ship in reality.

The Yacht could have been a civilian gunboat but it went the Yacht way, which is a very nice way to go btw:P, but the origins are still there. It could have been a gunboat, like this AI ship was meant to be the harvester ship.

It just seems a bit cheap to give a ship open to all AI players and then to suddenly revert it to a Harvester ship, even if it that was the original intention, as things have changed and people have purchased the ship as other AIs.
