The Rhino is another first that all of us saw when we first launched off Manhattan in single player. An impressive peculiar ship that seemed so magnificent at the time has been almost reduced to nothing in the latest discovery mod. Having the lowest cargo bay of all freighters in discovery makes it the bare minimum of trading in a freighter. However the Rhino does manage to retain some of it's charm; usually seen in New York and throughout as an ambassador for Liberty and a statement of origin for the person in the flight seat. Having the smallest cargo bay however does have its advantages. Being such a small shipper gives it the title of the smoothest and fastest Freighter class ship in Sirius and the price tag is quite fitting for the stats that your presented with. For about 51K you get three class three guns, two class two turrets, 225 cargo hold, a mine and a countermeasure. The mine slot does make the Rhino a lot more useful giving the option of trade lane disruption after docking. This in turn heightens your chances of escaping most under-leveled pirates, but the chances of pirates wanting to stop this thing at all are incredibly low. Like the Dromedary the Rhino is a nice slice of nostalgia pie for any of those loyal to the old days of Freelancer. It's affiliation with Liberty restricts it's use to a certain extent but is not much of a loss as there are plenty of other better options. Put aside every one of these flaws, the Rhino is still one of the most commonly flown Freighters amongst our newest players here on discovery, and thus gives the community a lot of character and gets my Kudos.

The mammoth is an impressive vessel put out by the Liberty ship production line. It's mighty and solid appearance is a very attractive factor and it's sole belonging to the Liberty House states a political vibe by those hailing from Liberty. But a few things annoy me about this ship. Firstly other equal class ships from other houses boast larger cargo bays, smaller chassis' and more efficiency in hot situations at only a few million credits more. If youre upgrading from a smaller transport such as a Gull, youll be disappointed to hear the mammoth has the same number of turrets that it only gets away with due to its compact shape. The cockpit view again is of a Liberty Avenger that can obscure your view, but shouldnt be a problem for die hard Liberty fans. The maneuverability of the mammoth is expected for a ship of its class and vision of the surrounding area is satisfactory. Class seven shield and countermeasure all come as standard for over 10.1 million. My advice would be to hold on to your credits and stretch a bit further to get something a bit better, but if you insist on this purchase then the mammoth can be a very impressive vessel to fly.

The Mastadon is truly a valorous vessel. Its amazing detail in design texture really boasts the might of the Liberty trading fleet. A Gargantuan 5000 unit cargo hold guarantees big bucks on every completed route and it's sheer size is enough for a pirate to think twice about going anywhere near it. But the Mastadon's bluff can be called when all that corporate might is stripped down to a single class seven turret mount. Like the Mammoth, other ships of the same class from other houses to outclass it in terms of survival. But like the other three house ships, its maneuverability is near to nothing. Taking a full 30 seconds to turn 360* on the spot, getting into an angular fight with pirates is NOT an option. The cockpit, being that of a avenger doesn't quite fit the character and really obscures your vision. But when you fly a monster like this you can't help but feel motivated in getting your goods delivered and boasting your nationality in style.
