I know I'm a relative outsider to the Order/BHG war, but I think, from reading the posts here, that people are thinking of this conflict too much in the manner of a traditional war (and let it be known that I, by nature of my Outcast RP, want to see both groups burn in the fires of hell, for gross abuse of Nomads and, in the case of the latter, direct attacks on Outcast vessels territorial holdings). The BHG Core are a traditional fighting force - they've got big wads of big ships (even more than they have big wads of small ships, in many cases:lol:). The Order, while they certainly have their share of large ship designs, don't need to and shouldn't be fighting the Core head-on, except in the obvious direct defense. The problem for the Order is that the Core has near-endless resources. The solution is to take away those endless resources so that once a Mako blows up it doesn't come back - it becomes economically impossible for the Core to maintain their massive war fleets and they are forced to withdraw from the Omicrons under increasing pressure from the Corsairs and the smaller Order forces. I would posit that the Order can indeed make this kind of a move on the Core because they are, bluntly, proffessional spies. Destroying infrastructure from within is what they're good at, and if they turn their more limited resources to removing the Core's resources they'd be very successful, I feel.
