Reamping the graphics?

I'm not talking about adding DX10 shaders, bump mapping, soft shadows and double poly counts. If someone wants to slap together some nicer backgrounds what is the big deal with doing that?

Nothing is "wrong" with that. This topic has come up time and time again. But the people who complain about "omgthe graphcissuxxors" don't actually DO anything about it (with a few exceptions.)

All I said was that if you want the graphics so badly, become a developer and join in.

Some of the Developers replied in this thread and SAID "Be patient. It's coming and it takes time" But you seem to have missed all the GOOD replies inamongst your desire to put those ELITIST etc. right.

Also you make sweeping general claims without context. "and as we all know, we absolutely DO have a choice in that regard." Not as far as I know which is where my comments come from. THEN YOU accuse ME of trolling.

Pointless long winded arguments about nothing that REALLY doesnt matter.
