Aye, should the Order get conquered in Omicron Minor, that could also provide the groundwork for renewed contacts with their old allies. The Bundschuh in Rheinland helped them out a lot during the Nomad War. Should the Order retreat to the Omega systems, they would have safe haven on their and Coalition bases. The Hessians would likely be neutral. That would effectively leave the Order out of the Hessian-Corsair war, and let them operate under its screen, away from bounty hunters and house military who tread carefully or not at all in systems that are encompassed in an epic conflict.
Not to mention that smack in the middle of that conflict are Wilde, who given the current game lore established by Igiss (which may or may not have actual footing ingame) are apparently hitting both the Hessians and the Corsairs so hard that both forces are thinking of a temporary cease fire. I'd say the Order would definitely get interested in Omega space, after all as some used to say "there is something fishy going on down there".
