This is a quite good idea, after all. Especially when you consider that when it comes down to it, *everybody* who wants to PvP flies with a hull upgrade Mk8 anyways. At the moment, it only exists to artificially raise the price of a PvP-worthy fighter/GB. Just remove the hull upgrades and boost the ship armors themselves.
