I honestly think a lot of this is pretty misguided, dunno why so many of you think the way you do..

No it isn't.
Yes, this game is about shooting things in space, It's also about creating characters with interesting stories, and seeing how they wind up fitting into the world here.
Yes, there are people who are more focused in one area or another, So what?
Some people prefer to shoot things rather than converse and have deep characters, some people prefer to focus on 'character development', Some people (like me) like to do both.
Roleplay interactions are -not- hard to find here.
Some people don't like that "Shooting is RP"
and some people are just too jaded to see that there's nothing wrong with actual non-shooty RP interaction.
Just, like...stop guys, jeez.
Also for the record, I get RP that doesn't involve shooting, All the time, in New York, on my [LN].
Sooo....Yeah.
Just because something doesn't necessarily go the way you want it to, or just because you get blown up, or what the heck ever, doesn't mean RP is nonexistent.
