I'm sure most of you will probably think this is a pretty lame first post, but to be honest, the only reason I haven't said anything up until this point is because I've been VERY afraid of breaking one of the obscure rules the server has that I have never heard about.

Yes, I know they are listed. However, the sheer number alone makes it very hard to do... a lot of things. I've never been sanctioned, but I also do not wish to actually go so far as to just wait untill it happens. I say this, not because I'm a rule breaker, but just because like Tales has said, this server, all though be it fun, is not inviting because it is over policed.

I noticed, first and foremost, that there is almost no room in this place for anything OOC (Out of Character). While I see that as not necissarily a bad thing, it does sort of make the punishment line blurred. I've been a firm believer in roleplay that in character actions should receive in character consequences.

An example of this would be the prison system you guys use. Yes, I know you DO use it when someone gets into trouble... but it's not roleplayed out. And often, there are OOC consequences that go with it, money removal, and bannings. To me, that's just in it's self a reason to loose all incentive to work at trying to do almost anything on the server.

Sadly, one thing I've also seen, that scares the living daylights out me, and has convinced me to leave with this being my final post, is the sheer snarkyness put forth by the Admins in the numerous sanction posts. Now, to put this as constructivly as I can, I'd think that'd be more fair to everyone involved if said Admins would remove their own feelings from it and take a nuetral standpoint. Instead, I've noticed a bit of what seems to be favoritism for people that have been here longer.

I know that it's my choice to leave, and I am doing so. I know that a lot of people like this place, and will defend it no matter what is said. But I hope for the sake of new people, like myself and others that this community becomes a bit more player friendly and a little less controlled.
