::regularly scheduled broadcasting is once again interrupted::

"Good Morning, Guten Morgen, and Ohayo! This is Miyo again reporting live from the aftermath of a battle between Liberty and Rheinland in Texas." ::she gesutres with her hand to the screen, showing lots of ship debris:: "The battle started off with only five fighters from Rheinland's main force under the command of Admiral Malexa Malte and the LNS Dreadnaught Freedom II while the remaining Liberty forces stayed near Houston. Several freelancers, civilians, traders, and the like disobeyed the LNS Champion' CO's request that they stay near the planet and engaged Rheinland. It was a ways into the battle, however, that Rheinland received reinforcements from at least one bomber. At this point the Freedom II became heavily damaged and ordered the remaining Liberty ships to move in and engage. Liberty's fleet was massive with at least three more capital ships: the Champion, the Augusta, and the Silent Storm engaging. This wasn't fast enough, however, to save the Freedom II." ::an image appears on the screen behind Miyo::

"The battle raged for quite a while with reinforcements coming to both sides, including Liberty Rogues and Vagrant Raiders aiding Rheinland. At one point, and only one point, Rheinland received reinforcement from a capital ship: A cruiser called the Command Officer. The cruiser was obliterated almost upon entry into the system due to its CO's ineptitude by the Liberty Carrier Silent Storm. In the end Rheinland fled back to their homeland and both sides sat claiming that they'd won while licking their wounds. I won't presume to decide a winner since no one wins in this kind of battle but I have the data on total losses suffered for each side. As the battle ended, Rheinland had lost one battle cruiser and five fighters as opposed to Liberty who suffered the loss of four gunboats, one carrier, one cruiser, three fighters, and the massive dreadnaught Freedom II. Again, I'd like to express that I have not altered this data nor is it a "score tally" for the battle. These were peoples' lives and both sides will be counting their losses for a long while to come."

::she bows her head in silence for a moment::

"Okay! In other news, the Joker gang in Bretonia has been more and more active lately. Recent sightings of the Hellfire Legion in Liberty have increased as well. Recent nomad sightings are on the rise, despite claims by the Liberty government that the nomads are a "prototype Rheinland ship". I would say that if this is the case then Liberty has a lot more to worry about than blue aliens, since that means Rheinland has telepathic ships." ::she giggles for a moment of pause:: "I recently got an interview with an LSF Agent, Julia Wolfe. As exciting as this was for me, I was unable to get a straight answer out of her regarding the LSF, the war with Rheinland, or the nomads. However, I did discover that her favorite flavor of ice cream is chocolate. In seriousness, though, regardless of what I say about them the LSF is a diligent agency and one of the finer agencies among the house governments that I've seen. So here's to them and their dangerous work. Well, everything, this is Miyo again and that was the truth for today."

::Miyo bows to the camera and the regularly scheduled program resumes::

Miyo - Exposing the truth no matter what!

Margery - I... have calculated the exact value of Pi.

Mel - Mel will take out the garbage, now~

Ayu - Everything happens on my patrol, doesn't it? :Confusedigh::

Amarantha - This won't hurt so much, mon ami.
