I dont mind armor upgrades, I dont mind the price being where it is. In this most recent version it was made so you could get a much higher armor rating on lower armors, and that helps people find a happy middle ground I think.

Otherwise, keep the price, it keeps people trading which keeps the server alive and full of activity.

If there was something instituted to make a disadvantage to owning armor, I would say perhaps a small reduction in maneuverability or a maintenance cost so you had to continually pay to keep the armor. This would probably reduce the number of characters that mount it.
