Yeah, TV is a grand escape from any reality, be it internet or outside. Also, Dexter is the best out there for people with twisted minds (pretty much all of us, no?).

Though, there are great ways to connect your computer to reality. Here is a wonderful site: www.meetup.com

Find a group you are interested in and go. It can be lots of fun whether you enjoy reading 17th century literature or enjoy blowing stuff up...whatever!
