Greetings Honorary IMG Director and Supervisors,
My name is Rey Mysterio my age is 23, I am, or was, a Universal Shipping employee, my status was Sub Escort Chief of the security department, a fair place in the ranks of the corporation, I was charged of assigning escorts for out trading convoys, I was a decent and well paid job. However, I didn't want to be stuck with it, most of my days I spent in an office, signing tons and tons of paper, something I didnt like much. It was in my blood to venture out, learn new things or even use my knowledge for the better of the universe. I had succesfully graduated from the ''Manhattan Deep Space Research Institution, but I was never put to good use with it while I was stuck in the security department. Hell this company barely has any technology anyway. Anyway, since the war had started between Liberty and Rheinland, Universal's profit started decreasing, and it had the highest effect on the security department, since most of the convoys had started to go much more often to bretonia, our allies. Universal didnt need many escorts in these parts of Sirus.
Soon after the war had started my pay had decreased significantly, it was so low I actually argued with the finance department asking them why I was even being paid! Since the corporation had decreased the escorts in our convoys, thinking that the bretonian government was ''enough'' to protect them. They were dead wrong, our convoys started getting ripped apart, or pirated of their cargo easily without their proper escorts which had vanished. The higher ups started blaming the security department, giving reasons that we were the ones not assigning escorts to their duties, how the hell can we assign ships that we dont have !? Since it was ''our fault'' the company started to cut payments rapidly of everyone working in the security department and giving out penalties, I lost 5 months of pay in a day because of them. I had enough of it, I went directly to the CEO's office, punched him in the face telling him that I QUIT!
After a few days of wandering around for a job, but the economy crisis had hit everyonw, all because of that damned war, from my friends I heard that un-employed, or fired workers from several places ad signed up for the Independant Miners Guild, and actually getting a job! At first i didnt believe it, but when I looked at the sign-up attachments, it was all I ever wanted! So i'm here now, at your ''doorstep''. I have understood that the IMG cares for its employees, works and defends, everyone protecting and backing everyone else in the guild. Thats a reason enough to keep attracting people to the IMG, so did it me.
What I can offer to the IMG ? My loyalty, my forever determination for independance, and... my fighting skills, I wasn't a Sub Escort Chief for nothing, I can shred pirates to pieces, anytime, anywhere. Since i had graduated from the Manhattan Deep Space Research Institution as the top student, I could help alot in the development of anything related to deep space, or even weapon systems. But still, i'd rather explor then be cooped up somewhere. So I request to be a part of your Guild. I would like to start in the Exploring Division, of course, if you have any room for me.
