Can someone explain what happened?

everytime you sell something, the game communicates with the server in order to save the credits to your account.
if the game lags out immediately after you dock, you wont see the red indicator when your docked, and the server cant give you your credits. but the game still thinks you sold the goods. so it looks like it transferred, but the server couldnt save the credits to your account.

when the game finally exited, the server put your character back in the last position with the cargo, since that was the last thing it saved.

thats why the admins encourage docking before you log off, the server isnt guaranteed to save your position in space. most of the time it does, but apparently sometimes it doesnt, as in your case.\


thats my take on it....
