The question is; how do these systems exist? How is it possible to have an entire system that is populated by exactly one faction?

Look at the current guard systems: house pirate guard systems...why have they not been assaulted by, at the very least, Bounty Hunters? What about the Rogue guard system? Complete with shipyard...wouldn't it be likely that Liberty would take action against that? Possibly with the assistance of Kusari, given it's location. GC guard, complete with shipyard (again), and some cardi-growing project or somesuch, why has Kusari not deployed a massive assault to take it out? Not to mention the faction-ending system that is Londonderry (hey, guys, we don't need the gold in Dublin, any more, we got an entire system full, here...).

As for the lawful ones, top security prison? How about a prison break, then? Sure, might not be successful, but it's highly likely that they'l give it a try. Top secret research? Someone's going to want to know about it...

Consider this: If the Liberty Navy has sufficient resources to completely lock down Virginia to the extent that no pirates or undesirables can enter, why do they not re-deploy that force to New York, y'know, the capital system of their nation, where millions of people live, the kind of place that you want to have the most security possible...

From a gameplay perspective, what precisely occurs within guard systems? I have only ever used them for 3 things: equipping, training and killing trespassers. Great interactions there, aye?

A "paradise" system is contradictory to the very existence of most factions, seeing as they can just withdraw into it and not have to worry about external conflicts ever again...
