You've been here a long time, much longer than me. And if it is like it always was ever since I got here, there was always a constant supply of lolcaps.
Where one falls, two new ones rise.
And I don't see why it'd create more work for the admins, since they'd hop in only if it gets abused.
And I don't see how it makes good players work more, since all they have to do is not say lol in system chat and rape light fighters with their battleships.
They don't have to do anything fancier than saying:
"My name is *, I'd like to be granted command of ship *.
I have served in * for a long time, and think the time has come.
* will be my first mate on the ship, and I plan to equip it with 100 other crewmen."
And then go ingame, play, and not pull any nerve wrecking stunts.
And I don't think we're handling it. Tell people who get raped by 4 dreadnoughts how we're handling it.
Tell me how we're handling it when my reputation drops because of lolcaps I can't make stop attacking a fighter who's in duel with me.
Tell me how we're handling it when they ruin an hour long time of RP which is getting capped(Ooh, wrong word choice perhaps.) off with a nice fight.
I don't see it getting handled at all.
And as for leading by example, I'd like you to know that I didn't just go and hop on here on the whiner bandwagon.
I sincerely did and do try to show everyone the better way. But some people do not want to learn.
Frankly, 70% of those lolcaps are people I recognize as constant abusers, and they always ignore me when I try to speak to them, and they do not heed RP at all.
