Well the Outcasts and GMG still have two systems in between their spaces to work with. One of which, Sigma-60, is directly in between both factions Guard systems (potential for some great fun there), the other is in between Sigma-60 and Omicron Beta named Omicron-64, I believe. The GMG NPCs have been showing rumours of interest in harvesting the Alien Organisms floating about in Beta. The whole stretch can turn into an interesting front that is hidden from Sirius proper.
