missiles are damn hard to balance. - look at the recent threads about missiles. - complaints until we nerft them for fighters, complaints until we nerft them for gunboats etc.
they carry the stigma of a "no skill" weapon that makes the ace-pilots life hard. ( and an ace doesn t like it much to have a hard life - done by a "no-skill" weapon )
The idea I have ALWAYS suggested is to make the flak do practically no damage but have inertial effect--throwing the ship around that it hits. Would be perfect for this.
