"He is Getting away! Fire a Cruise Disruption Torpedo!" Shouted Roddy to the Navigation officer.

"Aye Captain! Seeing coordinates to the TArgets projected destination! He is already 10 kilometres away and moving fast."

"Torpedo armed! Fire in three, two one, Go!" said Rita and hit the fire button. The large missle streaked silently into the dark nebula, at a kilometre a second. The Rouge Pilot expecting as much, swered to the right as the time-delay projectile zipped passed. It detonated and the Pule vista was lit up in an explosion of blue energy, rippling out 5 kilometres before subsiding.

Wodgiss kept goin and soon was out of range.

"Damnit! Take us into all ahead full! With our sauperior engines we can catch him!" Said roddy, punching the air in frustration.

"Aye captain, engaging cruise in three two one, activateed!" A muffle blast came from the lower decks.

"Achtung! K?hlmittel-Leckstelle!" Said the Feminene German voice.

"Roddy! I though you said ytou fixed the coolant problem!" Said Rita

"Blast it!" Said Roddy "T'was only a temporay thing! I had no Idea it would hold only twenty minutes!"

"Well do something! I'm gonna see what Can be done form here, direct the circuits and such. We can make a few systems like this, but its dangerous!"

At that moment the small incoming Message icon glowed green on her control screen.

"Roddy! Its Alster shipyards! They send you a reply about the spare parts! Damn, I thnk they answere in German...

"Indeed it shall, I never travelled there my self when you were missing, I wonder who still lives in apartment complex."

*Three weeks later*

The Jammy Dodger limped through the trade lanes of the New London system. It had been hard, many of the systems onboard the ship had been over heating and as a result, breaking down. Fortunatly for Roddy and teh Engineers, Nothing was broken beyond repair.

The trade lane deposited them a few thousand kilometres off of the planets gravity well adn they were greeted by a Passing BAF fleet.

"Hail, Jammy Dodger, this is Battleship Magnificant! Where are you guys headed?"

"Just taking a vacation on the planet! Take care!"

"Alright! Enjoy your stay on Planet New London!" The passing battleship headed towards Cambridge.

"Alright mates, Im going into manual Control, Sit back and enjoy the ride-"

"Achtung! Reaktor?berlastung!"

"Shut up! We really need to get that blasted AI changed to English!" Said Rita, fingering her pistol.

The clouds parted before the sleek green craft as it belched black smoke into the raining night sky on the The two's home planet. In the distance, they could see a streak of daylight as dawn approached. Roddy piloted the Dodger and the trafic controler at Westminster space port directed them to the bearth.

As soon as all the bumbing and shaking had stopped, Roddy let out a deep breath. He didn't think that the dodger could hold anymore. they DESPERATLY need the new parts.

"Alright crew! You guys can take a week of shore leave, we'll call you if we need you, but only in an Emergancy." Said Rita and she turned toward the ramps that lead to the street levels.

"Well, we made it!" he said as they walked down the narrow, well lit street.

"Aye, it feels so familiar in a distant way..." She gazed into some stores that they passed. "Remeber, Joe? He had his old "Tradin' Post" that he would buy the crap we found in the canals and sell as Alien Artifacts. Its too bad he got busted for Cadamine traficing."

"Hahaha! Yea, that guy was funny, There there was Sally Mason and Her husband. They owned the Taven down on The main canal."

"Why don't we go for a drink, before we check out the apartment?"

"Sounds like a capital plan! better then that synthetic crap we usually end up drinking!"

They walked apst the rainy shops and stores, remebering old times, before they reached the entrance of their Old Tavern. Opening the door, they saw that nothing much had changed; The same old tables, the same pictures, the same collection of bottles from the edge worlds and other assorted oddities.

"Well well well! IF it isn't my old two favortie folks in all of Sirius!" A large heavy set man in bartenders cloths came from a back room. "Roddy and Rita! Its been what ten eyars since I saw you last?"

"Paul Mason, you old rouge!" Said Roddy, "Still helping Sally Run the pub?"

"Nah, Sally died in a Phaontom atatck on Cambridge a few months ago. We still are thriving but since that vacation, it has been different around here..."

"Well, that is really unfortunate, Wished we could have been here, but we have had many things happen in the past ten years. We came here to pick up some parts for the Jammy Dodger!" Said Rita.

"You mean your old mouldering Tug? That old girl is still sitting down in your garage, didn't think it needed new parts!"

"Not that Dodger, this one." Said Roddy and he Produced the picture of Rita and Him standing infront of the gunboat on Planet Gran Canaria.

"Thats YOUR ship! But thats a Rheinland Millitary grade Gunboat? How did you get something like that!" Said Paul, in awe. He also looked at All the markings on Roddy's Jacket. "What do things pink dashes mean?"

"Well, those are Nomad fighter kill markings! Glad you asked"

"I don't know what you guys have been too in the past ten years, but please, I would like to find out! Drinks are on me!
