Concerning the Colonial and Maltese nations

Intent

These accords are meant to better the Colonial and Maltese nations by ending a wasteful, pointless and unnecessary war, eliminating a severe drain on the resources of both nations, establish territorial and trade boundaries and produce a productive symbiosis for all parties concerned.

Clause 1: Non-Aggression

All hostilities between the Maltese or 'Outcast' people and the Colonial Remnant shall cease immediately. All Maltese Battleships and Dreadnoughts should inform the Colonial Remnant before crossing the Border Line. Likewise, Colonial Battleships/Carriers should do the same for the Maltese authorities.

Clause 2: Territorial Boundaries

A border line shall be established within Tau-37, intersecting Tau 37 Alpha and Freeport 10. All space Galactic North of this border line shall be Maltese territory; all space Galactic South of the line is Colonial Remnant space. The Freeport and its associated No Fire Zone shall not, of course, be claimed or impinged upon. The Maltese port at Cali is considered Maltese space; however, the territorial claim around Cali shall extend only to the boundary of its atmospheric layer, which is six centimeters deep at its highest point.

Clause 3: Trade Regulations

Outcast vessels will not interfere with Colonial mining or transportation. Colonial Remnant vessels will not attempt to interdict any vessel carrying Cardamine as its primary cargo. Colonial Remnant vessels will not attempt to interdict Maltese Council-Member vessels or vessels associated with the Council of Dons hauling prison-sourced labor; any vessel not associated with the Council of Dons carrying prison sourced labor, and any vessel carrying labor from a non-prison source, may be interdicted at will. Outcast vessels may not distribute Cardamine on Colonial Remnant installations.
