If such a supposedly respectable gentleman will let personal feelings get in his way, I don't see how that is good.
As far as I am aware, the other Dons, beside you and Don Santini, have already consented to the treaty, and placed their trust in Dons Ral'Aste and Barilla to procure the best terms of the agreement.

I am afraid that I cannot see anything more than a hopeless attempt to push your own will against the wishes of the rest of the Council of Dons.
Frankly, I don't know how such dishonesty can be tolerated by your colleagues, seeing a vote on the treaty was already passed with the majority for it.
But it is not mine to consider, that is an internal Don matter to resolve.
