OK both of you, this is begining to look like flaming me personally! WTF? Calm yourselves down!
I'm trying to have a civilised discussion, you both act like... |a few people in the last few days|, but I digress. Back to the frigate.

Your point of "Uber" is a bias and a difference of opinion. However, I would appreciate it if you would refrain from personal definitions and implications. It is insulting and does not improve your position, "It'll make you a better player and enable you to help this community develop more."

My position? Mate I am trying to tell you to open your eyes about it. Whatever you are insinuating.
' Wrote:P.S. On the version, this from Igiss in reference to Assault Frigate,
QUOTE(Igiss @ Aug 11 2006, 07:30 AM)
Frigate is neither a cruiser nor a battleship. It's something in-between. Cruiser power supples are now 1400 thousand, and Battleship supplies are 7 million, while frigates have 2-3 million. Conclusion: they are best fit for good Cruiser weapons, NOT for battleship weapons, however, limited quantity of battleship turrets can be used.
This makes it, definitely, in 4.81 and strong possibility of 4.80.
P.S.S. It would not be a cruiser for I proposed no thruster and no lvl 10 BS weapons. It would be a Frigate, however, to be such it needs the lvl10 shield.
OK, I said I wasn't sure since when it's here but it's sure not 'from the beginning' as you said.
you say: 'It would not be a cruiser for I proposed no thruster and no lvl 10 BS weapons.'
I say: 'a class 10 shield on a Talarca or a huegenot, or whatever cruiser, unmount the thruster and load up with favorite weapons.'
we are saying the same, we are just calling it differently.
' Wrote:Actually, you'd be a sitting duck for a lot of shiptypes. The thruster is the only thing that really makes the Cruiser viable in capship fights.
heh, knowing your questionable 'tactics'... you don't need a thruster anyway (if we want to insult each other, I prefer not to)
' Wrote:In the same sense, without a stronger shield, the Frigate is essentially not viable. Even with class 10 shields on a Frigate, the Liberty Cruiser can take it on and expect to have some chance of winning.
The Li Cruiser is supposed to take on battleships, it is supposed to take out a frigate a lot easier.
' Wrote:I'm not sure how players who really only seem to use fighters and bombers on the server became such experts on capship balance.
Makes a lot of sense since both Dab and I have been and still are capship owners/pilots. I made my name here in a battleship, ask the older players, read my RPs.
The fact that I consider the Sabre a much more honorable way of living is another story.
Back to Oso, I seen the new post, both of us know the thing is extremely hard to hit anywhere else than in the dead center and that is a very small area. Why are you so keen on it?
edit: Thanx Wolf!
