Galen's back stiffened and he felt his shoulders bunch up. The commander tried not to notice the gaze that Black Rose gave, and hoped the drinks came soon.

"Ah well, it can't get any worse.." he thought.

"Uhh well besides normal duties in the Navy as I'm sure you know, I do enjoy walking down the trails in Manhattan park, occaisional reading and just living life heh, if that means anything..."

The waiter, still pasty-faced and sweating arrived with the drinks and with a bow quickly skittered off behind the bar. Galen slowly took the drink from the table, and with a nod to Black Rose, took a sip and set the drink aside.

With a sigh and a slight smile, he calmly asked "How about you, Miss? A rare chance to talk to someone with your heritage, what are your hobbies?"
