She made a quick reply.

"Herr Fischer, I am not responsible for taking the promotion requests mein Herr, fill the form and hand it in to the responsible office. I did it this time for you mein Herr. There it will be handed to the Admiralty with the pilots documents and bios."

Later that day, Flieger Fischer recieved a letter.

Flieger Fischer,
Your handed it promotion request was dealt with accordingly.
High Command and the Admiralty decided that Flieger Fischer fulfilled every needed qualification for the rank Gefreiter.
Flieger Fischer is hereby promoted to the rank of Gefreiter.

Congratulations Gefreiter Fischer.
Your new rank badges will be handed out by your Flight Group Leader.
