The Arrow, to my knowledge, is the only ship actually classified as an interceptor.
Perhaps a Arrow Mk II, or something else based on the Arrow line?
Something that only has 2-4 guns class 8, maybe 9, a tcd, a cm, mines, and a thruster.
No need for turrets or torpedoes.
Class 8 or 9 shield Max.
Basically a cockpit strapped to a big honking engine.
Would also be good for recon, kinda like the "A" wing in Star Wars "X Wing VS Tie Fighter"
Edit: I can see it now, LN admiral giving on of his men the assignment to go into Hamburg and scan all RM ships in system and bring back the info, without having to fire a shot.
