Whats your Discovery?

Ooh, I like theoretical discussions of this sort!

Picture this, you are the inventor, story writer and coder of Discovery. Its your Discovery.

What would be your storyline?

I like how things are, generally speaking. I'd keep things mostly the same, with some changes to Gallia being apparently superpowered. Plus I'd make the Zoners more realistic and not the most powerful group ever known to mankind. And more of the sciencey corporate factions actually exploring the outskirts of space, instead of having random Zoner bases everywhere.

What would be your goal?

Fun and RP, of course.

What features would you include?

More systems that seemed to be on the frontier, like the independent and border worlds of vanilla, or systems like Orkney in Discovery.

How would you run the server?

I'd invent a system that would disable people from being dumb. If that's not possible, pretty much the same, but with more streamlined rules and having more player control over issues.

Would you go down the RP, PvP road, or strike a balance?

RP is the way to go, but it's not as fun without the ability to PvP. A balance is definitely needed.

Would you give characters millions on starup?

Millions, probably not. Giving them a bit more wouldn't be bad. Or having them start in a small freighter instead of a Starflier.

Would you abolish player controlled capitals?

No, but, if it were possible, I'd make them require more responsibility and work to balance accordingly.
