do you see any such limitations on other popular games? i dont, and if you do, id like you to point me to it. so far, nearly every game out there which ive seen (fps mainly, since rts' allows players to choose when to play, and the outcome is mostly "give up" "lost" or "win") have a way to keep number of AFKs under control by auto kicking after say 5-10 minutes of afk, or more than 2 rounds of afk (in the case on CS:S servers, like my clan's). that keeps it fair for people to play and gives them enough time to take a piss/crap if need to, but keeps it fair for those waiting in line to join said server. perhaps reducing the time from 15 minutes to 5 minutes on the AFK counter would be a good idea for discovery, but i dont think there should be anything done that autokicks players after said amount of time just because they got into the server before someone else did.
