Kathir-"High.Drive" / Slaves, 3084 / Confiscated Ship Destroyed
John - Discovered vessel was a slaver in Tau-23, 0615 SMT. Ignored our requests to halt, so we closed and opened fire. After hull damage, it halted and we spoke with the captain. He refused to be escorted back out of Tau space or surrender cargo and attempted to escape. Pursued into Tau-37 and destroyed, 0625 SMT. Slaves picked up by our train, the John Gault.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Ship attempted to stall us as we've seen often while operating in these sectors - probably for Outcast support. I'd like to remind all pilots to carry out interdictions swiftly; request they return the way they came or surrender their cargo immediately; if they attempt to stall without good reason, give them a time frame and engage if they do not comply within that time. As company policy, do not give second chances to surrender once engaged.
