Daisuke draws a weighted breath. Since joining up, he'd felt a bit faceless. He was still finishing old business. He'd wanted this to job to be a clean slate for him, but it turned out there was more wiping than expected. But here he was, called to attend and present himself.

"I'm still here, of course. I'll cede that I haven't yet been pulling my weight. Yesterday's rubbish still needs clearing off of today. But I'm getting there. Old debts are repaid, old acquaintances left alone. Mou... I'll start earning my keep soon, I swear it."
