I renamed the thread and removed poll from it.

The reason for shield bug is simple. Rheinland battleship is much bigger than others. And shield is an ellipse-shaped structure that is outside ship for small ships, and inside for larger ones. Laser weapons do reach the shield through hull, however, rockets explode on the ship hull (because they have collision, unlike other weapons) and the explosion does not reach the shield. On other balleships there are places where shield may be damaged by rockets because they are thin, Rheinland however is too large. One solution that may work is repositioning the shield hardpoint to another part of the ship, I'll try it in 4.75.
